As a small, nonprofit organization, the Portage for Youth relies heavy on volunteer involvement from groups, businesses, churches and individuals. We currently have the following volunteer opportunities available:

Special Events Coordinator and Committee Members
The Portage has two major special events this year: our first-ever July Minnesota Twin game fundraiser and our 4th annual Drive for Kids. We need a number of people to help with event planning, sponsor solicitation, graphics arts, phone calling and day-off staffing. Fun opportunity for those who love baseball or cars.

Theatre Box Office and Concession Workers
The Portage owns and manages the historic Mounds Theatre at 1029 Hudson Road. We are regularly in need of people to help sell tickets and concessions for plays, dance and other events (see www.moundstheatre.org for a list of upcoming productions).
